Digital Media Specialist

Overview
 

During my time as Digital Media Specialist at El & El Wood Products, I managed a variety of digital communication initiatives supporting customers, employees, and internal teams. My role combined visual storytelling, website management, social media, internal communications, and process improvement.
 

Working with a company that sold highly visual products, I focused on creating content that helped customers better understand what we offered. Many products required customers to visualize how they could be used, so I developed digital assets that showcased products in realistic settings and helped bridge the gap between a product description and the customer experience.

Project 1:
Product Visualization & Digital Marketing Content

Goal

Help customers better understand products by creating visual content that demonstrated how products could be used and where they fit within their projects.

My Role

I created and edited product imagery using Adobe Photoshop, placing company products into realistic environments and creating visuals that helped customers visualize possibilities before making purchasing decisions.

I also developed digital assets used across marketing channels, ensuring product information was presented clearly and consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Edited and enhanced product photography using Adobe Photoshop, adding in our products to images.

  • Created product visualization images to support customer decision-making.

  • Developed digital marketing graphics and promotional materials.

  • Selected imagery and messaging to highlight product benefits.

  • Collaborated with internal teams to determine customer needs and improve product presentation.

Goal

Improve the customer experience by keeping website content current, visually engaging, and easy to navigate.

My Role

Managed front-end website updates, including banners, product images, text updates, and promotional content. I created visual elements such as product carousels to improve product discovery and help customers explore available options.

Responsibilities

  • Updated website banners, imagery, and written content.

  • Created product carousels and digital features to highlight inventory.

  • Maintained accurate product information across digital platforms.

  • Collaborated with internal teams to improve website organization and usability.

  • Supported backend data improvements by identifying inconsistencies and creating more efficient processes.

Goal

Identify communication gaps between employees and leadership and better understand employee experiences within the organization.

My Role

Designed and managed an internal communication project focused on employee satisfaction, workplace communication, and identifying areas where employees felt disconnected from leadership.

I collaborated with CEO-level leadership to develop the project goals and then independently managed the execution, including collecting, organizing, and analyzing employee feedback.

  • Developed employee communication strategy and survey approach.

  • Collaborated with executive leadership to identify goals and desired outcomes.

  • Managed project implementation from planning through data collection.
